Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to know:
The number of individuals opting out of automatic enrolment pensions by generation.
I’d like the taxpayer’s generation defined as:
- individuals born between January 1 1946 and December 31 1964
- individuals born between January 1 1965 and December 31 1980
- individuals born between January 1 1981 and December 31 1996
- individuals born between January 1 1997 and December 31 2012
I’d like this information for each of the last five years, with June 30 as year-end. If this is not possible then please use the year-end used internally by the organisation.
If you are unable to provide five years of data, please provide three years of data, otherwise please provide data for the last two years. If this is not possible, then please provide data for the last year.
If you cannot provide the data for each generation, please provide the total number of individuals for each year.
If it looks as if the work involved in responding to this FOI is going to exceed the time permitted under the FOIA then please contact me as soon as possible to discuss how I can reduce the scope of this request.
